Up to $250,000 Jobs Support Loan through QRIDA
Applications now open
Available for businesses in operation before 1 July 2017 and still in operation now or businesses that have shut down or suffered a loss of income due to COVID-19 subject to eligibility criteria. Businesses that have been restructured or existing businesses purchased after 1 July 2017 may also be eligible if they meet certain conditions.
The loan value will be up to 50% of your business’s annual wages to a maximum loan amount of $250,000.
Businesses must demonstrate that they have been viable in the past and would have been able to support loan serviceability under normal trading conditions.
Applications are now open for the Queensland Government’s $500 million COVID-19 Jobs Support Loans through Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority(QRIDA).
These loans are available to assist Queensland businesses and non-profit organisations financially affected by COVID-19 to retain employees and maintain their operations.
Eligible business types include sole traders, partnerships, private and public companies and Trusts. Loans may be used to help meet a business’s working capital expenses such as paying employee wages, sundry creditors, rent and rates and other eligible carry-on expenses.

- Business Financial Statements for 2017-18 and 2018-19
- Personal Taxation Returns for 2017-18 and 2018-19
- Trust Deed (if applying for a trust)
- Directors personal statement of position (if applying for a company)
- Bank Account Information
- Australian Tax Office (ATO) Integrated Client Account Statement
- Aged list of debtors and creditors at time of application
- Applicant Identification Information.
