“We go back to 1990 with OBT when we went through some tough times – we had a plumbing business which wasn’t making any money and wasn’t getting paid. Rodney Turner did a time and motion study on that business and confirmed as much, which we solved by selling off that part of the business. Then we did some major works where the client didn’t pay. With Rodney by our side with the bank manager, we came back from the brink of bankruptcy. Our business bounced back and now we won’t do anything without speaking with OBT.
If we need a new piece of plant (which is a big investment) we’ll involve OBT and ask questions about the right way to go.
These days we do our cash flow monthly with OBT, we know our tax position in advance and keep on top of everything generally with regular meetings which create better awareness.
